Research Stream 1: North Korean Wellbeing


This is one of my three research streams, focused on transnational movements that aim to support the wellbeing of people in the DPRK.


Transitional Justice in Korea: A Role for Australia?


Funded by the Academy of Korean Studies, this project considers how Australia may support current and future transitional justice initiatives on the Korean peninsula.


(Re)engagement with North Korea: Dialogue and Planning for Future Opportunity


Funded by IFES/MOU, this project explored the potential of experiential learning, through workshops, simulation , and/or serious games, to inform and prepare individuals for effective engagement with North Korea.


Research Stream 2: Global Humanitarian Issues


This is one of my three research streams, focused on issues relating to humanitarianism globally including power, governance, and the construction of humanitarian concepts.


Humanitarian Leadership


Funded by USAID and IKEA foundation, this project included practical teaching for humanitarian workers and research for humanitarian leadership development.

This is one of my three research streams, focused on humanitarian learning and training, including in university settings.
